As it’s now Tuesday night, we’re officially done with Autotask Community Live 2011! For our first Autotask conference, this has been a great event – although, really, it’s over 30 degrees here in Miami so how can you go wrong?!
Autotask is the business management application that we use every day at Sea to Sky. It runs every portion of our business – service tickets, CRM, inventory, etc. Everyone at the company effectively lives inside Autotask all day long. We’ve been partnered with them for 4 years now, and it’s a great relationship, as they’re a fantastic company to work with. We thought that 2011 would be a good year to participate in our first Community Live event – the annual conference that gets the very active user base together to ‘talk shop’ and pick up some new information, tips and tricks for using the application.
Jason and I flew down to Miami on Friday, and enjoyed a day in the sun on Saturday. Prior to the official start of the conference, we participated in the ‘Autotask Bootcamp’ to refresh our knowledge of the latest features and updates to the software. This was a full day event on Sunday, while Monday and Tuesday were the primary days of the conference itself – where we participated in keynotes, breakout sessions, and meetings with industry vendors. We picked up some great highlights from the software roadmap, and some tips that we’ll definitely take back and use in our day to day business.
Overall, the event was a huge success, and we want to thank our friends at Autotask for making it possible – we’re looking forward to next year!
